OUR CLIENTS had recently purchased a summer home on the coast of Cape Cod, and asked us to make a series of renovations. While maintaining the exterior envelope, we reconfigured the interior to create a new kitchen and mudroom; better define the main entry and living room; re-imagine the master bedroom suite; add additional bedrooms and bathrooms; and convert a former studio into a bunk room. Taking cues from the clean lines and simplicity of the existing house, we incorporated detailing and finishes, to add character and enhance this already bright and airy home. The result is a pleasant oceanfront retreat for family and friends.
